Sept. 26

500 block of Sunnybrook Drive: Someone damaged the ignition of a 2013 Ford van in an attempt to steal it.

Overnight in the 800 block of Silacci Drive: Someone was able to enter and start a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe in an attempt to steal the vehicle.

9:55 a.m. in the 600 block of Nido Drive: Two suspects were found to be too intoxicated to care for themselves.

6 a.m. in the 900 block of La Plata Plaza: A neighbor witnessed two Hispanic males attempting to get into a vehicle. The suspects fled in a dark sedan.

12:11 p.m. in the 00 block of North First Street: A man, 37, was found to be in possession of a meth pipe.

11:44 a.m. at Highway 17 and Hamilton Avenue: A woman, 38, started a grass fire next to the on-ramp. She admitted to negligently starting a fire.

6:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Dell Avenue: A man, 48, was yelling at people and causing a disturbance. He was under the influence and had meth and a pipe.

Sept. 27

5:20 p.m. in the 00 block of Sanford Avenue: A woman, 34, was under the influence of a controlled substance and challenging someone to fight. She shoved a minor out of the way and punched the victim. She kicked and spat at officers.

6 p.m. in the 1000 block of West Hamilton Avenue.: Someone has called 911 multiple times over the last few months absent any emergencies.

10:08 p.m. in the 400 block of North Central Avenue: Someone attempted to force entry into a woman’s business while she was inside.

2:10 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone forced entry into a business via window smash. A black SUV was seen fleeing the scene and was not located.

Sept. 28

Overnight in the 600 block of Millich Drive: A dark green 1990 Acura Integra was stolen.

700 block of Nido Drive: A red 2003 Ford Explorer was stolen.

Overnight in the 3600 block of South Bascom Avenue: The catalytic converter was stolen from a 2006 Honda Accord.

7:44 p.m. at West Hamilton and Carlyn avenues: A man, 55, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and was in possession of methamphetamine and a smoking pipe.

Overnight in the 800 block of Torero Plaza: Someone forced entry into a 2003 GMC truck. The ignition was destroyed, and tools were stolen.

1:03 a.m. at Page Street and Maple Avenue: A man, 25, was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

5:04 a.m. in the 0 block of West Campbell Avenue: A man, 57, entered a building through an unlocked door. He was under the influence of a stimulant, was in possession of methamphetamine and had outstanding warrants.

Sept. 29

Overnight in the 100 block of W. Rincon Avenue: Someone attempted to force entry into a business by kicking the rear door.

3:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 37, was reportedly trying to shoplift. He was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

5:08 p.m. in the 1100 block of Arnott Way: The suspect, 92, was being combative and punched the victim, 91, in front of officers.

6:45 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 29, was causing a disturbance and was found to have a misdemeanor warrant.

10:40 p.m. at South Bascom Avenue and Campisi Way: A man, 32, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. He was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

11:12 p.m. at West Hamilton Avenue and Phoenix Drive: Officers located a stolen silver Nissan Frontier. A man, 38, walked out of a store and toward the stolen vehicle then walked past the vehicle. He walked past the vehicle again then walked out toward the street. Officers attempted to contact the man, but he quickly walked into a laundry room in an apartment complex and locked the door. He exited after a few minutes and was found to have a misdemeanor warrant. He had keys to the stolen vehicle and was seen on CCTV exiting the vehicle. The property manager of the apartment complex wanted prosecution against him for loitering and wandering on private property.

7 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A gray Scion XA was stolen. All keys were accounted for.

2:32 a.m. in the 1000 block of Ravenscourt Avenue: During an argument, a woman, 21, pushed the victim, 37, once, causing an injury to his left ear.

Sept. 30

8:47 a.m. in the 2300 block of South Winchester Boulevard: During an argument, the suspect brandished a knife and threatened to kill the victim.

Overnight in the 1200 block of White Oaks Road: Someone stole the rear plate from a GMC Savana truck.

10:39 a.m. in the 800 block of West Parr Avenue: Someone stole a 2004 Ford Crown Victoria and abandoned it after colliding with a parked car.

10:32 a.m. in the 1100 block of Harriet Avenue: Someone attempted to steal a teal 1995 Chevrolet Tahoe.

12:55 p.m. in the 100 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone caused a disturbance at a business and then got into a physical altercation with a staff member.

1:31 p.m. at Creekside Way and Hamilton Avenue: Officers located a red 2007 Pontiac that was reported stolen out of Van Nuys. It was determined that the owner recovered the car but did not notify the police.

2:28 p.m. in the 1200 block of Camden Avenue: Someone stole the victim’s purse from a table.

4:37 p.m. at Hamilton Avenue and Almarida Drive: Officers located a white 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The driver was detained, and it was discovered that his plate had been switched with the stolen vehicle’s plate.

100 block of Curtner Avenue: Someone made entry into a storage unit and stole items.

6:30 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone took merchandise and fled.

9:43 p.m. in the 400 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 34, was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

3 p.m. at the Campbell Community Center: Someone stole several items from the victim’s car while it was parked in the parking lot.

Oct. 1

3:18 p.m. at Hamilton Avenue and Winchester Boulevard: A man, 35, was reportedly being a hazard in the roadway. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and was arrested.

7:55 p.m. at Civic Center Drive and East Campbell Avenue: A woman, 30, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. During a probation search, cocaine was located inside of the vehicle.

12:14 a.m. at South Bascom and Apricot avenues: A woman, 55, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. She was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol.

12:28 a.m. at East Campbell Avenue and North First Street: A man, 27, and a woman, 28, were stopped for doing burnouts in the middle of downtown. The man was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol, and the woman had a misdemeanor warrant.

Oct. 2

2:18 a.m. at 00 South Bascom Avenue: A driver, 33, was involved in a solo vehicle collision with a tree and fled on foot. The driver admitted to the collision and was cited.

8:36 a.m. in the 00 block of North First Street: A man, 60, was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. A meth pipe was found in his possession during a search incident to arrest.

8:30 a.m. in the 100 block of Friar Way: Someone stole three garden gnomes from the victim’s front yard and scratched her vehicle with one of them.

6:01 p.m. in the 00 block of West Campbell Avenue: A woman, 43, was too intoxicated to care for herself.

7:49 p.m. at South Winchester Boulevard and West Latimer Avenue: A man, 38, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI on marijuana and alcohol.

11:40 p.m. at Camden and New Jersey avenues: Officers located a white 1999 Ford van stolen out of San Jose.

12:20 a.m. at South Bascom and Apricot avenues: A driver, 30, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. They did not listen to the officer’s orders. The driver was taken into custody and found to have a felony warrant.

1:31 a.m. in the 400 block of Kuehnis Drive: A man, 47, was stopped for riding on the sidewalk, and he had mushrooms, syringe needles and a mailbox key in his possession.

2:27 a.m. at Wilton and Nido drives: A man, 27, was stopped for a vehicle code violation, and he was in possession of a Taser.
