The city’s former mayor, Trish Spencer — the main challenger to incumbent Mayor Marilyn Ezzy Ashcraft — emerged as the most assertive critic of an opponent in the two races while council candidates Paul Beusterien, Jim Oddie and Hannah Groce cast the most sharply opposing views on the same matters.For city officials, this raises revenues without hurting residents. It probably will have little impact on hotel visits.
