Bay Area High School sports - Girls volleyball (Doug Duran/Bay Area News Group)

This week had no movement in the top five, but that could change next week.

Top-ranked St. Francis plays host to No. 2 Archbishop Mitty in a showdown of number one and two in the rankings.

The Lancers defeated Mitty 2-0 in an earlier tournament, but this is the first matchup between the two teams in league play.

San Ramon Valley, Campolindo, Foothill, Monte Vista and Carondelet are all top-tier teams, and any of those five could be argued to be ranked in any order.

We welcome Dublin to the rankings, a team that has played ‘only’ 13 games but has wins against aforementioned teams like Carondelet.

And now, on to the rankings!
