OAKLAND — A man shot in an East Oakland neighborhood Sunday was hospitalized and later listed in stable condition, authorities said.
In a statement, police said officers responded around 10:45 a.m. to the 800 block of Fifth Avenue near a transit agency maintenance yard.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his thirties suffering from three gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Investigators did not share details about what led up to the shooting, or any related suspect or vehicle description.
