Police are looking for a gold or tan four door sedan that fatally hit a woman and sped off on the evening of Oct. 1 in Walnut Creek.
The incident occurred on the corner of North California Bolevard and Civic Drive after a female tried to cross an intersection. The victim died after being sustaining major injuries and being transported to the hospital by ambulance.
Authorities say the suspect driving the sedan fled before they arrived and that “several” witnesses called 911.
Walnut Creek police are asking members of the public with any information to call 925-943-5844.
