Cole Anthony didn’t play again Thursday night in the Orlando Magic’s home win over the Golden State Warriors and will once again be sidelined for Saturday’s game vs. the Sacramento Kings at Amway Center.

Anthony, who injured his right internal oblique in an Oct. 26 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers, is expected to get back on the court for individual work within the next few days, a person with knowledge of his situation told the Orlando Sentinel on Thursday.

That person added he hopes to return to play after Thanksgiving in late November/early December. Ultimately, his return will depend on how he responds to rehabilitation and treatment in the coming weeks.

Anthony missed the season-opening loss to the Pistons in Detroit on Oct. 19 because of an illness before making his season debut in the loss to the Atlanta Hawks on Oct. 21.

He’s averaged 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.3 assists in his four games.

Anthony is among several Magic players who’ll sit vs. the Kings.

Markelle Fultz (fractured left big toe), Gary Harris (left knee injury recovery), Jonathan Isaac (left knee injury recovery) and Moe Wagner (sprained right midfoot) also remain sidelined.

Fultz and Wagner weren’t wearing boots while on the bench Thursday.

Terrence Ross was listed as questionable for Saturday on Friday evening’s injury report after suffering a contusion in his left knee in Tuesday’s road loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ross sat for Thursday’s win.

When asked Thursday which guys are able to do full court five-on-five drills, Mosley responded, “They’re doing small pieces of it.”

“Moe Wagner’s not,” Mosley added. “Gary and [Jonathan Isaac] are doing the half-court stuff, getting a little bit of bump. Markelle is not doing that yet. They’re on their own different paths of how they’re responding to their own treatments.”
