Close, but no tiara.
While Prince William and Princess Kate spiffed up for the green carpet at Friday’s Earthshot prize ceremony, Kate apparently left the high-powered headgear at home. Must be hard to pack.
But the Princess of Wales dazzled nonetheless, even in a rental. In a shoutout to sustainable fashion, Kate’s off-the-shoulder green gown by Solace London came from the rental platform HURR. She dipped into Princess Diana’s jewelry box again, sporting the diamond and emerald choker Diana once famously wore as a headband.
Earlier in the day, Kate responded in her own way to the not-so-subtly timed release of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Netflix series trailer this week: Check, mate.
Kate cut Prince William lose Friday morning for a solo trip to Harvard University, and delivered a one-two punch of chic in a houndstooth check Emilia Wickstead ensemble with long sleeves in a sleek pencil cut. Smashing.
Prince William looked fine.
