Dec. 26

7 a.m. in the 300 block of Budd Avenue: A man, 26, was reported a suspicious person. He was found to be under the influence of a stimulant and was arrested.

9:43 a.m. at Robnick Court and Harriet Avenue: A woman, 40, attempted to flee from officers but was apprehended. She was found to be under the influence.

9:18 p.m. in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 30, was trying to open doors to parked cars and challenging people to fight.

2:05 a.m. in the 1700 block of Dell Avenue: Someone rammed the north gate in an attempt to enter a construction site.

10:28 p.m. at Campbell Avenue and Winchester Boulevard: Officers located a 2015 BMW that was stolen from Campbell Park on Nov. 16. There was also a stolen plate on the car.

4:31 a.m. at Almarida Drive/David Avenue: A woman, 23, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.

Dec. 27

Overnight in the 2100 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone forced entry into a business through the front door and stole money from the cash register.

10:15 a.m. in the 2100 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Someone broke the right rear window to a car and stole items.

8:53 p.m. in the 600 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 44, was sleeping in the trash compactor area. When officers contacted him, he began to fight and bit officers. He was arrested and lied about his name to conceal a warrant.

9:45 p.m. in the 700 block of East Campbell Avenue: A white 2013 Lexus RX4 was stolen from a parking lot. The victim thinks she dropped the key in the parking lot earlier in the night.

9 p.m. in the 100 block of Rose Court: A man, 56, was at this location in violation of a restraining order. He was also too intoxicated to care for himself.

700 block of East Campbell Avenue: Someone used the victim’s credit card without authorization.

Dec. 28

10:35 a.m. at Phoenix Drive and West Hamilton Avenue: Officers located a 1998 Toyota Tacoma parked and running, which was reported stolen out of San Jose on Nov. 29. Two suspects were arrested. One was cited for possessing methamphetamine.

Overnight in the 1200 block of El Moro Drive: Someone attempted to steal a 2014 Ford Econoline, causing damage. When they were unsuccessful, they stole tools.

1:57 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 31, was yelling and writing on a notebook that he did not pay for. He was contacted by officers, and he pulled away and tensed up. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance.

2:55 p.m. in the 100 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 39, was reportedly laying on the ground. He was in possession of methamphetamine.

7:55 p.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Camden Avenue: A woman, 27, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to have felony warrant for grand theft.

8:22 p.m. in the 800 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A white 2004 Volvo was stolen. Approximately 20 minutes later, a witness observed a Volvo hitting a curb on Buddlawn Way. Officers located the vehicle unoccupied and without the keys.

9:55 p.m. at East Hamilton and Almarida avenues: A man, 45, was found to be under the influence of a stimulant. He was in possession of methamphetamine for sales and drug paraphernalia. He admitted to using narcotics around his kids.

11:07 p.m. at South Bascom and East Hamilton avenues: A man, 37, and a woman, 42, were in a stolen white 2006 Dodge Caravan. The man had methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and the woman had methamphetamine.

11:14 p.m. in the 300 block of Orchard City Drive: A man punched the victim in the face. The victim wanted prosecution.

Dec. 29

Overnight in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: Someone forced entry into a vehicle and rummaged through it.

4:09 p.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 28, shoplifted a Milwaukee power tool and fled. He later discarded the tool, which was recovered. In the process of fleeing, he kicked out fence boards. He was eventually located. He had several outstanding warrants.

6:37 p.m. at East Campbell and Union avenues: A woman, 56,  was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

8:22 p.m. in the 100 block of Wilton Avenue: A man, 31, returned in violation of two no-contact orders between him and the victim.

8:32 p.m. at East Hamilton Avenue and Creekside Way: A woman, 28, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

9:53 p.m. at West Campbell Avenue and Jeffers Way: A man, 32, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

11:08 p.m. at Highway 17 and East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 27, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI. He was on DUI probation and did not have his interlock device on his vehicle.

12:28 a.m. in the 1500 block of South Bascom Avenue: A woman, 41, was found to be under the influence of a stimulant.

1:15 a.m. at South Bascom Avenue and Stokes Street: A man, 28, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

1:25 a.m. at Curtner and Shamrock avenues: A woman, 25, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

2:13 a.m. at Civic Center Drive and North Central Avenue: A man, 21, asked officers for help finding his friend. He was found to be DUI.

Dec. 30

8:21 a.m. in the 900 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Officers located a 1999 Honda Civic reported stolen out of San Jose Dec. 29.

7 a.m. in the 200 block of East Rincon Avenue: Someone took a package containing water filters from the porch.

3:11 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A woman, 47, was causing a disturbance inside the store. She was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia.

4:07 p.m. in the 700 block of West Hamilton Avenue: Someone broke into a locked vehicle.

4:36 p.m. in the 100 block of Darryl Drive: Someone turned off the power to the victim’s home then forced entry through a garage door. The victim was home and scared the suspect away.

9:22 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Bascom Avenue: A man, 26, was causing a disturbance in a parking lot. He was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

11:49 p.m. in the 300 block of Orchard City Drive: A man, 24, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

12:22 a.m. at East Campbell and South Bascom avenues: A driver, 26, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

12:35 a.m. in the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 26, was causing a disturbance inside of a bar and was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

12:32 a.m. at East Campbell Avenue and North First Street: A man, 24, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

Dec. 31

6 a.m. at Hamilton Avenue and Winchester Boulevard: A man, 31, was involved in a hit and run collision. He was found to be under the combined influence of alcohol and a controlled substance. He was in possession of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine

Overnight in the 60 block of Hardy Avenue: Someone entered a vacant residence and stole tools.

9:54 p.m. in the 200 block of West Sunnyoaks Avenue: Two suspects walked into a business carrying tools and tried to break into storage units. They fled in a BMW when confronted.

8:51 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue: A transient man, 27, was trespassing inside of a complex. He lied about his name and had drug paraphernalia on him.

10:04 p.m. in the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue: A man, 37, was causing a disturbance inside of a bar and was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

12:28 a.m. at East Campbell Avenue and South Winchester Boulevard: A man, 27, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

1:09 a.m. in the 900 block of West Hacienda Avenue: A man, 23, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.

1:23 a.m. at Railway Avenue and Orchard City Drive: A man, 24, drove onto the VTA tracks and got his vehicle stuck. He was found to be DUI on alcohol and drugs.

1:51 a.m. at West Campbell Avenue and Jeffers Way: A man, 31, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

2:12 a.m. in the 300 block of Union Avenue: A woman, 20, struck the victim, who did not want prosecution or a restraining order.

3:11 a.m. at 2501 S. Winchester Boulevard: A transient man, 64, was asked several times by security to leave but refused.

Jan. 1

Midnight in the 70 block of North First Street: A wallet was located downtown and brought to the police station. Attempts were made to return the wallet but were unsuccessful. First case number of 2023.

11:37 p.m. in the 700 block of East Campbell Avenue: A transient man, 63, was laying in the doorway and would not leave. He was found to be intoxicated and had meth and a smoking pipe.

2:13 a.m. at First and Grant streets: A man, 53, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be driving while under the influence of a controlled substance. Meth was located in his car.

2:39 a.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Hamilton Avenue: A man, 33, was pulled over for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

3:52 p.m. in the 900 block of Gale Drive: A woman was located unconscious and not breathing in her vehicle. An officer administered Narcan, and she regained consciousness. She admitted to taking Xanax while her 6-year-old son was at a friend’s house. She was transported to the hospital for treatment, and her father took custody of her son. Child Protective Services was notified.
