A pedestrian was killed after they were struck by a car in a hit and run Sunday night in Daly City.
Authorities were informed of a hit-and-run on San Jose Avenue, near Flournoy Street, just before 9 p.m. Officers found an unconscious elderly man laying in the middle of the street. First responders provided medical aid and took the man to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The driver was gone when police arrived.
The suspect and vehicle were not identified as of Monday afternoon.
