CONCORD — A truck and its driver were being sought by police in a Dec. 21 hit-and-run collision that injured a bicyclist.
The 57-year-old man who riding the bicycle was taken to a hospital and was reported to be recovering after the crash.
The collision happened about 10:25 p.m. Dec. 21 at the intersection of Concord Boulevard and Farm Bureau Road.
Police said the bicyclist, a Concord resident, was riding on Farm Bureau Road when he was hit by the truck, which was traveling on Concord Boulevard. After the collision the driver fled in the truck eastbound on Concord Boulevard.
Based on video footage recovered from the area, the truck is described as a silver or gray 2000-2008 Toyota Tundra with an extended cab. Police said the truck should have minor damage to its front.
A detailed description of the driver has not been released.
