Subjects of the portraits in Willow Glen artist Eve Page Mathias’ “Big Red Chair Project” are friends and loved ones she missed during the pandemic. The 19 portraits in the series will be exhibited May 6-Aug. 13 at the Triton Museum of Art in Santa Clara. Each acrylic painting is done in bold colors on a 5-foot-by-4-foot canvas.
