CONCORD — Authorities were still determining the cost Sunday for a jewelry store in the Sunvalley Shopping Center hit by a smash-and-grab robbery Friday night.
Concord police in a statement said they were looking for three suspects who wore ski masks and brought hammers with them into St. Andrew Jewelers about 7:05 p.m. They did not have specific descriptions of the three.
The suspects smashed several jewelry cases with the hammers and took several of the store’s “miscellaneous jewelry items,” police said. No one was injured.
All three suspects had escaped in a waiting vehicle by the time officers arrived. Police are looking for them and asked anyone with information about their whereabouts to call them at 925-603-5836.
