Bike Rodeos like this one held last month at Van Meter Elementary are designed to teach young kids bicycle safety. Bike Rodeos were also held during the last school year at Blossom Hill and Daves Avenue elementary schools, teaching fourth graders the rules of the road and the importance of wearing helmets when biking, scootering or skateboarding.Neighbors want a design that reflects the rural tone of the area.
