Courtesy Oracle -- Oracle is donating land and building a high school on its Redwood Shores campus. The charter school, Design Tech, has been operating in a temporary building in Burlingame for two years. This new school will open in 2017 and can handle up to 550 students and 30 faculty. Oracle co-CEO Safra Catz revealed the plans Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2015, saying founder Larry Ellison has always been interested in education.Mercury News Letters to the Editor for June 1, 2023
