What is a LX 600? The LX 600 is a full size luxury SUV built and sold worldwide by Lexus. Based on the Toyota Land Cruiser, the 2023 LX 600 shares its Tundra based platform driveline, and in addition to possessing massive go anywhere capability, it has a very high level of luxury appointments as Lexus’s new flagship SUV.

Lexus is the luxury vehicle division of the Japanese automaker Toyota. The Lexus brand is marketed in more than 90 countries worldwide and is Japan’s largest selling maker of premium cars. It’s ranked among the 10 largest Japanese global brands in market value.

The 2023 Lexus LX 600 base price is $89,160 in the entry level base trim and is way above the luxury class starting price of $75,000. The three mid level model trims range from $97,110 up to $105,110. The top of the line Ultra Luxury Edition starts at $129,405.

This week Lexus sent me a 2023 Lexus LX 600 Ultra Luxury Edition SUV to test drive and review. The base price for this Ultra Luxury model is $129,405. The options on the test SUV are: a set of wheel locks for $95 and the carpet cargo mat for $150. The MSRP manufactures suggested retail price, including the $1,345 destination charge is: $130,995.

After adding in the state and local sales tax, plus the DMV and dealer fees, the out the door and in your garage total purchase price came to: $147,369. Wait, what, how much? At nearly $150 Grand for a SUV, it better be extra special and ultra luxurious for the price; which it is on all levels.

The LX 600 is powered by a twin turbocharged 3.4L liter V6 engine that makes 409 HP horsepower and 479 pound feet of torque. It’s bolted to a 10 speed automatic transmission with full time 4WD 4 wheel drive and has an adaptive variable air suspension system.

The Ultra Luxury Edition features all passenger diamond stitched leather seating with embossed headrests, 2nd row massaging and reclining captions chairs, a right rear power recliner with a sliding ottoman, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, a dual screen rear seat entertainment system, a front driver Lexus memory system, 4 zone climate control, a center console cool box for beverages, a heated wood and leather trimmed steering wheel, rear window shades with wood trim, active height control, easy power closing doors, a Mark Levinson surround sound system, a 2nd row wireless charging pad, illuminated door scuff plates and a thematic ambient illumination system.

The new 25 speaker Mark Levinson 8 Reference Surround Sound enables you to unlock a deeper appreciation of music. While the one touch auto arrange power folding seats and the automatic door closers make everyday tasks effortless.

Multimedia and connected services flow thru a 12.3″ touch screen display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Wi-Fi connect has safety connect, service connect, remote connect, drive connect, cloud navigation, an A&T hotspot with integrated steaming, 4G connectivity and Sirius XM platinum satellite radio.

Exterior upgrades include triple beam LED head lamps and LED tail lamps, a gorgeous set of 22″ forged alloy road wheels, cargo roof rails, a power glass moonroof, and a power rear lift gate with a hands free open and close kick sensor.

Safety and advanced technology are both first class, and state of the art, with the Lexus safety 2.5 pre collision system with pedestrian detection, all speed dynamic radar cruise control, lane tracing assist, lane departure alert with steering assist, intelligent high beams, road sign assist, blind spot monitors, a back up camera with dynamic gridlines, intuitive parking assist with rear cross traffic alert, a panoramic rear view mirror, a multi terrain monitor and a graphic head up display.

According to J.D. Power’s 2023 vehicle dependability study, the highest ranking premium brand was Lexus. With proper maintenance, a Lexus can last 250 to 300,000 miles, and can easily be around for 17 to 20 years. The normal lifespan of most vehicles is about 15 years and 150,000 miles, so buying a Lexus can be a very good investment.

When you’re ready for a brand new full size luxury SUV, the 2023 Lexus LX 600 Ultra Luxury Edition should be on your ride and drive list, as it’s one of the nicest and newest SUV’s for sale in the entire upper luxury premium class.

Call, click or visit your local Lexus dealer for a test drive, and a Bottom Line price review, on the new 2023 Lexus LX 600 Ultra Luxury SUV. And remember that the base price for a new LX 600 starts at only $89,160. Lexus – Experience Amazing.
