Generic breaking news police siren flashing
A pedestrian died after a driver struck them early Sunday morning in San Jose, police said.
The crash occurred in the 1100 block of Winchester Boulevard in San Jose around 3:22 a.m. when a driver allegedly struck a pedestrian. Police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are investigating the crash and ask anyone with information to reach out to authorities. This marks the 34th traffic death in San Jose this year.
