Car catches fire in eastbound Caldecott Tunnel

Traffic backs up on Highway 24 and frontage roads after a smoky car fire in the eastbound bore of the Caldecott Tunnel in Oakland, Calif., on Friday, Nov. 1, 2013. Fire crews responded about 9:51 a.m. as the tunnel filled with smoke, causing motorists to abandon their cars and run out of the tunnel on foot.
