Swearing-in ceremony

The Cupertino City Council will be swearing in the city’s new mayor and vice mayor for 2024 at a Dec. 14 ceremony, taking place at 5 p.m. at Cupertino Community Hall, 10350 Torre Ave. RSVPs are encouraged to bit.ly/3FZL3bJ.

Trustee area workshops

The Fremont Union High School District is holding a series of workshops for the community to learn about the transition to trustee area elections, review the preliminary map scenarios, provide feedback and input and learn how to the use mapping software to design your own map.

The first workshop was set for Dec. 7 at the district offices. Others are scheduled for Dec. 9, 9:30-11 a.m., at the Columbia Middle School library, 739 Morse Ave., Sunnyvale, and for Dec. 14, 6:30-8 p.m. at the Quinlan Community Center, 10185 N. Stelling Road, Cupertino.

League seeks volunteers

Free holiday concerts

Cupertino Village is hosting the local band Trilogy on Saturday afternoons in December. The band will perform from 1-3 p.m. on the lawn between Cupertino Optometry and 99 Ranch Market. Trilogy will play a variety of holiday pop and classic favorites. The free concerts are set for Dec. 9, 16 and 23 at 10869 N. Wolfe Road. For more information, visit https://bit.ly/3HyQu3q.
