Rockstar Games early trailer
It could have been a leak but Rockstar Games has released the trailer for its much-anticipated title “Grand Theft Auto VI” a few hours earlier than expected.
Here’s what fans can glean from the video.
- “Grand Theft Auto VI” takes place in Vice City, which is based on Miami and was featured in “Grand Theft Auto: Vice City”
- It appears to star a female protagonist named Lucia this time around. That’s a first for the main series. She appears to be getting out of prison and is somehow back in trouble with the law. She appears to have a beau and they end up robbing a liquor store. It appears to be a love story.
- You have to love the billboards in Vice City. Apparently, there’s a drug to cure emotions. Yeah, people don’t need that.
- Vehicles featured include swamp boats, airplanes, motorcycles, helicopters and ATVs
- Plenty of Florida Men are featured.
- The criminal in the news clip says something about a tattoo leading to a criminal’s arrest. That’s something that actually happened in California.
- The song featured in the trailer is “Love is a Long Road” by Tom Petty.
- Sadly, the game is coming out in 2025. The wait is going to be agony.
