DUI: 4:02 p.m. at South Winchester Boulevard and West Hamilton Avenue. A man was driving on the wrong side of the road. He was stopped and found to be DUI.
PETTY THEFT: 4:12 a.m. in the 900 block of Connie Drive. Trashcans were stolen from the victim’s driveway, recovered from the suspect’s driveway and returned.
POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA: 11:40 p.m. at South Bascom Avenue and East Hamilton Avenue. A woman was stopped for riding her bike on the sidewalk. She was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe with burn residue.
May 27
DUI, DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 2:45 a.m. in the 700 block of Nido Drive. A woman and a man were involved in a disturbance in front of an apartment complex. The woman was found to have been driving under the influence of alcohol. The man was arrested for being drunk in public.
DUI: 12:40 a.m. at Salmar and East Hamilton avenues. A driver was stopped for vehicle code violations and was found to be DUI.
DRIVING WITHOUT A LICENSE, POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA AND NARCOTICS: 2:33 p.m. at San Tomas Expressway and Payne Avenue. A driver was in possession of marijuana as a juvenile and was driving without a license. A passenger was in possession of suspected narcotics and marijuana as a juvenile.
THEFT: 10 a.m. in the 700 block of East Campbell Avenue. An unattended purse was stolen from a communal area.
PETTY THEFT: 6:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of South Bascom Avenue. Someone stole the victim’s wallet from her purse while she as shopping and successfully used her credit and debit cards.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 6 p.m. in the 1500 block of Winchester Boulevard. Two men were contacted on a noise complaint. One attempted to hide or destroy evidence, was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and refused to identify himself. He was in possession of meth and paraphernalia. The other man had an out of county warrant for DUI and was too intoxicated to care for himself.
May 28
VANDALISM: 11:30 a.m. at Old Orchard and Waldo roads. Someone broke a fence, causing $500 in damage.
RETAIL THEFT: 1:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. Suspects stole $664.68 of items from CVS and fled in a black Mercedes.
POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA, BURGLARY TOOLS: 10:10 a.m. at South Bascom and East Hamilton avenues. A man was contacted for a municipal code violation and was in possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary tools.
BURGLARY, VEHICLE THEFT: 7:29 p.m. in the 600 block of Lisa Way. Two suspects entered a locked RV and stole items. They also attempted to steal the RV. They fled from officers at a high rate of speed when they conducted a traffic stop.
May 29
LEWD ACT IN PUBLIC: 9:22 a.m. on the Los Gatos Creek Trail. A woman saw a man masturbating as she ran past him and observed his pants down.
BURGLARY: 5:30 a.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Someone forced entry into a store and attempted to take items and flee through the emergency exit.
May 30
GRAND THEFT: 3:39 a.m. in the 300 block of Harrison Avenue. The catalytic converter was stolen from a 2005 four-door, silver Honda Accord.
BURGLARY: 5:50 a.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. Someone attempted to force entry into a closed business. Employees were inside the business during the attempt. The suspect fled in a silver sedan.
May 31
CORPORAL INJURY, FALSE IMPRISONMENT WITH VIOLENCE: 9:41 p.m. in the 200 block of Union Avenue. During an argument, a man grabbed his girlfriend’s neck and punched her head. She had visible injuries.
RETAIL THEFT: 5 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue. Two suspects entered an open business. One suspect grabbed approximately $636 worth of items and concealed them on his person while the other acted as lookout. They fled the scene without paying.
June 1
POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA: 2:39 a.m. at Budd Avenue and Sobrato Drive. A man was reported looking into cars. He was stopped in the area and found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe.
BATTERY WITH SERIOUS BODILY INJURY, ROBBERY: 1:56 a.m. in the 3500 block of South Bascom Avenue. The suspect punched the victim in the head two separate times, causing her to fall to the ground and be unable to hear out of her left ear. Another suspect stole the victim’s glasses.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, PARAPHERNALIA: 12:40 a.m. at West Sunnyoaks Avenue and South Winchester Boulevard. A man was stopped for a vehicle code violation while riding a bike. He was found to be in possession of a glass smoking pipe and methamphetamine.
VANDALISM: 8:35 p.m. in the 2000 block of Winchester Boulevard. The victim said a woman had vandalized his vehicle in an amount greater than $400 and fled on foot.
VANDALISM: 7:55 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Bascom Avenue. Someone smashed the rear window of a car in the parking lot, causing damage in excess of $400. Nothing was taken.
June 2
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: at Kennedy Avenue and South Winchester Boulevard. A woman flagged down an officer and requested a ride home. She was under the influence of alcohol and found to be unable to care for her own safety.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, PARAPHERNALIA: 12:14 a.m. at North Central and East Hamilton avenues. A man was stopped for vehicle code violations and because it was known he had an outstanding arrest warrant for elder abuse and domestic violence. He was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and syringes.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 11:03 a.m. at West Campbell Avenue and South Winchester Boulevard. A man was contacted after a collision with an open container in his hand. He admitted to drinking and was found to be unable to care for himself.
UNDER THE INFLUENCE, IN POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE APPROPRIATING LOST PROPERTY: 8:43 a.m. at South Bascom Avenue and Shamrock Drive. A man was found to be on probation and to be under the influence and in possession of narcotics. A second man refused to identify himself but was found to be under the influence and in possession of narcotics. He was also in possession of stolen property.
June 3
BURGLARY: 2:21 a.m. in the 100 block of East Sunnyoaks Avenue. Three suspects entered a store and stole approximately $3,000 worth of merchandise.
