Saratoga teams with San Jose nonprofit to subsidize residential tree planting

Local students spent time volunteering at Our City Forest in San Jose as part of The Children's Discovery Museum's Summer of Service. Fourteen service sites located in the South Bay are providing opportunities for teens in grades 7-10 to earn up to 30 community service hours per session doing things such as mentoring preschoolers, sorting and bagging food for low-income families and facilitating activities and conversations with seniors at Live Oak Adult Day Services.

Our City Forest to provide free trees to property owners.
