International popstar Nick Carter brings his “Who I Am” World Tour 2024 to Campbell’s Heritage Theatre on Friday, Nov. 22, with special guest O-Town.
At age 12, Carter was the youngest member of the Backstreet Boys, the best-selling boy band in history.
Since 1995, the band has sold over 130 million records worldwide and has earned five Grammy nominations. The group signed a $60 million deal with Jive Records in 1999.
Carter started a solo career in 2002 with his debut album “Now or Never,” released under Jive Records. The album went gold in the United States, Japan and Canada.
Since then, Carter has released two additional solo albums. His 2023 single “Hurts to Love You” became his most successful track, charting in seven different countries. That year he also wrapped up “The DNA World Tour” with the Backstreet Boys.
Specifically for the Campbell concert, O-Town will join Carter on the Heritage Theatre stage. Like the Backstreet Boys, O-Town was created by Lou Pearlman, who was subsequently convicted of embezzling more than $300 million. After Pearlman’s conviction in 2003, “We really had little choice but to close up shop at that point”, said band member Jacob Underwood.
Reunited in 2014, O-Town released their third studio album, “Lines & Circles,” and set out on a national tour. In October 2016, the group launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund production of their fourth album.
The concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at 408-866-2700 or at HeritageTheatre.org.
