“The county must stop illegally dumping human blood and human flesh. This is not a polite bureaucratic request from one county agency to another. This is the law, and we are enforcing it.”

— Santa Clara County District Attorney Jeff Rosen, announcing plans last week to sue three county-run hospitals over alleged improper disposal of medical waste including human flesh, high-grade narcotics and patient records. The county hospital system said it is “implementing corrective actions to address the concerns.”
