The night comes as community members prepare to break their fast during an iftar event at Kenz Coffee Roasters in Los Gatos on March 22. Iftar references the evening meal during Ramadan when Muslims end their fast after abstaining from food and water from dawn until sunset. During the month of Ramadan, which ended March 30, Kenz provided a series of events that owner Mohammad Subeh held to bring people together and create a sense of community.
