DANVILLE — A woman who died when two cars collided at a major intersection last weekend has been identified.

Authorities on Tuesday said 57-year-old Sandy Hall, of San Leandro, was a passenger in a truck that collided with a mini-van about 1:15 p.m. Saturday. The crash happened in the intersection of Sycamore Valley Road and Camino Ramon.

The driver of the truck and the driver of the mini-van both suffered minor injuries in the crash, which left the truck overturned. Two other passengers in the truck were not injured.

Police have not revealed details about how they think the crash unfolded. They are still investigating.
