An overnight fire in Crockett on Thursday scorched about six acres, fire officials said.
Fire crews from Crockett, Rodeo, and El Cerrito responded to the blaze and stopped its forward progress about 4 a.m., according to a statement from the Crockett-Carquinez Fire Department. Cal Fire and East Bay Regional Parks fire crews also assisted.
The blaze broke out near San Pablo Avenue and Old County Road.
The fire did not cause any injuries or burn any structures. Crews spent Thursday morning at the scene, monitoring for hot spots.
