Jury awards $2.2 million to California man shot in face with nonlethal projectile during protest against police brutality

The complaint said the projectile “traveled up his nasal cavity, where it remained lodged for almost an entire year, until it was surgically removed,” causing Cellin Gluck permanent disfiguring injuries, traumatic brain injury, and other lasting consequences.
