Authorities are looking for other teenagers who may have been contacted by a Healdsburg man and registered sex offender who was arrested Tuesday after police said they found child sexual abuse material and evidence he sent teens explicit messages.

Officers searched the home of 26-year-old Alfredo Flores Rico on Tuesday. He is on probation after DUI convictions in 2022 and 2023 in Sonoma County and a conviction for sending harmful material to a minor in Los Angeles County, according to police.

Inside the home, officers found alcohol — which he is barred from having under the terms of his probation — and then looked at his phone. Police say they found conversations with children ages 13 to 16 on several social media apps. Some included explicit sexual messages and attempts to arrange in-person meetings.

Flores was arrested on suspicion of violating probation, possessing child sexual abuse material and sending harmful material to a minor, which are both felonies. He was booked into the Sonoma County jail with bail set at $150,000.

Police are continuing to investigate and are asking anyone with information to contact the Healdsburg Police Department at 707-431-3377.
