The headliner for the second Friday night of high school football in the Bay Area was under a national spotlight.

But make no mistake: there was plenty of good football in Week 2 beyond the showdown between No. 1 De La Salle and No. 2 Serra. There was another matchup of Bay Area News Group Top 25 teams in the Top 10, between No. 7 Bellarmine and No. 9 McClymonds.

The Bay Area News Group’s scoreboard provides all the scores from the weekend’s action.

Check back every Saturday for our roundup, which updated throughout the day with highlights and top performers from around the area.
