Almost 900 people have been charged with offenses related to the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol. The interactive graphic above allows searching by name, state, criminal charge, sentence and affiliation (Proud Boys, Oath Keepers and others).

The longest sentence so far is 10 years, for Thomas Webster, 56, of Goshen, N.Y., a retired New York police officer and a Marine veteran. He was convicted in a federal jury trial of all six charges against him, including assaulting a police officer and engaging in violence on restricted grounds with a dangerous weapon.

Trial began Oct. 3 for Stewart Rhodes, founder of the Oath Keepers extremist group, and four of his associates. They are the first among the hundreds of people arrested in the Capitol riot to stand trial on seditious conspiracy, a rare Civil War-era charge that calls for up to 20 years behind bars.
