One person died early Thursday in what the California Highway Patrol said was a two-car crash on North Vasco Road.
Few details of the fatal collision were available right away, including whether anybody else was injured. The CHP said two sedans were involved in the wreck.
The crash at about 3:40 a.m. near Old Rooney Ranch Road blocked Vasco Road in both directions for about two hours. The CHP said both lanes were open again at 5:45 a.m.
Authorities did not immediately identify the person who died.
No other details were available immediately.
