Mill Valley police have arrested three men they suspect of burglaries in Marin County.
Authorities had been looking for a BMW linked to a series of recent burglaries, including cases involving two bicycle thefts and a vehicle theft in Belvedere, according to the Mill Valley Police Department.
At about 2:30 a.m. Thursday, an officer spotted a similar BMW near East Blithedale and Elm avenues. The officer stopped the car for vehicle code violations and confirmed that the license plate matched the BMW that police had been seeking.
Police found suspected burglary tools and drug paraphernalia in the car and arrested the driver and two passengers.
Emilson Baquedano-Martinez, 26, and Carlos Gomez-Macias, 35, both of San Francisco, and Nelson Torres, 33, of Oakland were booked into the Marin County Jail on drug- and burglary-related allegations.
Police are still investigating the suspects’ potential connection to burglaries and thefts in the area.
