Los Gatos police respond to reports of thrown lemons, stolen logs

Jan. 30

VANDALISM 12:41 p.m. on Highland Avenue. A caller said their gardener drove over plants and sprinklers. The caller wanted to press charges.

VANDALISM: 8:58 p.m. on Bachman Avenue. A caller came home and found that someone had broken a window by throwing lemons.

Jan. 29

GRAND THEFT: 4:25 p.m.at The Terraces Of Los Gatos on Blossom Hill Road. Jewelry was missing from a resident’s drawer, funds were missing from their bank account and someone tried to take out a loan in the resident’s name.

Jan. 28

NOISE DISTURBANCE: 10:06 p.m.on Vista Del Monte. A caller said their neighbor across the street was hitting golf balls into a net in the garage, and it was :very loud.”

Jan. 27

BATTERY: 1:07 p.m.at McDonalds on Los Gatos Boulevard. A supervisor threw tray at an employee, almost hitting him in the face. She then hit him on his shoulder. She was upset with the employee the previous day, telling him he was doing everything incorrectly.

Jan. 26

GRAND THEFT: 12:03 p.m. on Eaton Lane. Someone stole 10-15 20-foot logs and loaded a trailer for a loss of about $40,000.

PETTY THEFT: 4:54 p.m. on Tait Avenue. Someone stole a banner off the caller’s fence. The banner had a picture of President Trump and read, “Never surrender.”
